It starts with you telling us about your child — their name, their world, the people and things they love, and the challenge they're facing right now (or the adventure you want to send them on). We collect everything through a simple form on our website. From there, our team gets to work building a story crafted entirely around your child. You don't need to do anything else. We take it from here.

We don't offer previews, and that's intentional. Kiddozi is a craft service, not a template tool. You've told us everything we need to know about your child, and we trust our process to produce something that will genuinely move you. If for any reason it doesn't feel right when it arrives, our money-back guarantee means you're completely covered.

If you need to correct something — a spelling, a detail — get in touch with us at support@kiddozi.com as quickly as possible and we'll do our best to make the change before the story goes into production. Once it's in production we're unable to make changes, but our money-back guarantee still applies if something feels off when it arrives.

Our books are written for children between 1 and 10 years old. When you fill in your child's details we ask for their age, and we adapt the language, complexity, and storytelling approach accordingly. A book for a 2-year-old reads very differently from one for a 9-year-old, even if the challenge is similar.

Almost anything a child might be facing. Separation anxiety, starting school, nighttime fears, a new sibling, making friends, big emotions, family changes, loss, self-confidence, neurodiversity, and much more. It doesn't have to be something heavy either — if your child is obsessed with dinosaurs and you want a magical adventure, we can write that too. If you can describe it, we can write it.

Your child is always the hero. Beyond that, you can include siblings, parents, grandparents, best friends, pets, favourite toys — almost anyone or anything that lives in your child's world. The more you tell us about the important characters in their life, the richer the story becomes.

Yes. A personal dedication page is a beautiful addition, especially for a gift. Just include your dedication message when you fill in your child's details and we'll make sure it appears in the book.

Every Kiddozi book is 24 pages, fully illustrated in our signature warm watercolour style — the same style you see throughout our website. Your child's illustrated likeness appears throughout, created from the photos you upload. It's available as a digital PDF, a printed softcover, or a premium hardcover.

We have one art style: our signature warm watercolour illustration style. We believe in doing one thing exceptionally well rather than offering many options at the expense of quality.

Your photos are used solely to create your child's illustrated likeness in the story. They are stored securely and never shared with third parties or used to train any AI systems. If you'd like your photos deleted from our system at any time, simply contact us at support@kiddozi.com and we'll take care of it immediately.

Yes. We take the privacy of your child's data seriously. All information you share with us is stored securely, used only to create your book, and never sold or shared with third parties. You can request deletion of your data at any time by emailing support@kiddozi.com.

From the moment you submit your child's details, your book will be ready within 7 business days. For digital orders, your high-resolution PDF will be delivered to your email. For printed orders, your book will be delivered nationwide across South Africa within that timeframe.

We deliver printed books to addresses within South Africa only. If you're outside South Africa, or want to gift a book to someone abroad, our digital option delivers instantly to any email address in the world.

Kiddozi makes a beautiful gift. Simply fill in the details about the recipient's child when you order, add a dedication message, and we'll take care of the rest. If you'd like the book delivered directly to the gift recipient, just use their delivery address at checkout.

Yes. Each book is built around a specific child and a specific challenge, so if you have more than one child or want to gift books to multiple children, each one is ordered and created separately. Every story is entirely unique.

We offer three formats: Digital (R299), Softcover (R599), and Hardcover (R899). Every format includes the same fully personalised, human-reviewed story. The only difference is how it arrives in your hands.

Yes. If you started with a digital book and want a printed version, you can upgrade at any time. You'll pay the full price of the printed format less 20%, so your digital purchase isn't wasted.
